Job Summary
The HR & Admin Assistant will support the Human Resources and Administration functions by ensuring accurate employee record management, smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, effective communication, and timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role also contributes to employee engagement, compliance, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining job descriptions.
- Handle employee queries professionally via calls and emails, ensuring timely resolution. Support employee engagement initiatives, feedback collection, and workplace culture activities.
- Assist in employer branding efforts including LinkedIn and social media initiatives.
Employee Benefits & Compliance
- Coordinate employee enrollment in insurance plans and maintain related records.
- Liaise with tax departments and external compliance bodies to ensure timely submissions and adherence to regulations.
- Assist in administering compensation programs and employee benefits.
- Coordinate and track drug testing processes where required.
Attendance & Leave Management
- Review and process Request Time Off (RTO) applications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain attendance records and ensure proper documentation.
Training & Development
- Assist in administering online training modules and tracking employee progress.
- Support learning and development initiatives.Administrative Support
- Ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and coordination.
- Maintain company platforms such as SharePoint and ensure data accuracy.
- Support general administrative tasks and office operations as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (HRIS experience is a plus).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
