Job Summary:
NASA Chemicals is seeking a competent and result-oriented Assistant Manager Production – Blending & Packaging to support and manage daily production operations at our Hub Factory. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient blending and packaging processes, meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing safety and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):

• Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising blending and packaging operations to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to minimize downtime and wastage.
• Monitor production parameters and ensure adherence to approved formulations, SOPs, and batch manufacturing records (BMRs).
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance/Quality Control to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Oversee packaging line efficiency, labeling accuracy, batch coding, and finished goods handling.
• Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 5S, and HSE standards on the shop floor.
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Manage and maintain production documentation, reports, and inventory records related to blending and packaging.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance and quick resolution of equipment breakdowns.
• Train, guide, and evaluate production staff to improve skill levels, discipline, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
• Support the Production Manager in audits, inspections, and management reporting.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in BSC / B.E in chemical Engineering or MSC / BSC in Chemistry.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in chemical / Lubricant / Detergent / blending & packaging operations.
• Strong understanding of blending processes, packaging machinery, production planning, and quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with shop floor management and team supervision.
