Job Purpose:

  • To manage end to end field operations activities of respective region. His key tasks include assurance of network availability and managing network operations within the allocated Opex-budget.


Job Responsibilities:

  • To meeting the regional major KPIs for 2G/3G/4G network availability.
  • To ensure Preventive/Corrective maintenance of Access Network and non telco is carried out in time.
  • To manage, supervise and follow up with the Grid leads to minimize the MTTR i.e. Mean Time to Repair the fault.
  • To meet the regional Microwave availability targets to meet the quality network.
  • Responsible for end to end alarms rectification progress reports. RMS & EAS rectification as well as the hardware (BSS) alarms contribution minimization.
  • To reduce the OPEX of the company. To take some initiatives and to follow up all the execution end to end.
  • To follow up the low TCHA cases as well as low efficient cells to get the count as minimum as possible. Moreover he will also be responsible for all regional RAN/BSS issues.
  • To perform the network audits in order to check and evaluate the field teams performance (telco & non telco maintenance).
  • To allocate the clear and transparent KPIs to regional field teams on monthly basis and to evaluate on weekly, monthly and quarter basis.
  • Managing on time execution of quality acceptance on air/PATs to get the new site on-air.
  • Conducting network analysis on basis of root cause analysis and fault descriptions.
  • Developing BTSA/TCHA improvement plan and to get himself align with vendors and field staff to minimize the most occurrence cases.
  • To identify the hardware faults, to identify the R&R loop holes, to identify the fault and issue at root grass level & to take up all this with vendor team to ensure least re-occurrence.
  • Providing support to sales team in achieving their key targets e.g. gross-adds and loading/recharge etc., by ensuring availability and quality of the network
  • Coordination with respective sales teams to resolve customer complaints related to network issues.
  • Responsible for the Pro-active maintenance to minimize the faults in the network.
  • Determining cause of system issue and resolve system issues under the guidance of 2nd and 3rd level support staff members and/or vendor.
  • Assisting the staff in solving the operational processes related issues.
  • Prepare the staff schedule for holidays, vacations and operational procedures, or other duties and project assigned.
  • To coordinate with regional FOPS manager in allocation of targets & KPIs to field teams on monthly basis and to evaluate their performance on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Vendors management to support Field Operations teams.
  • Follow up with HQ and vendors for timely provision of Telco and non-Telco spares.
  • Administer Meetings & coordination with fops team, vendors, inter departmental i.e. network constructions, transmission, RAN) related to network improvement, Operation & maintenance activities.


Education:

  • Minimum B-Tech/Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom from HEC recognized university.


Work Experience:

  • B-Tech with 8 years of relevant experience or Bachelor of Engineering with 5 years of experience
