Assistant Manager QHSE - Warehouse

What You Will Do:
As AM—QHSE you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards and systems within the logistics and warehouse operations. This role supports in executing site-level inspections, audits, training, and reporting to ensure compliance with applicable QHSE policies, legal requirements, and company standards.

Assist in implementing QHSE policies, procedures, and systems at site level aligned with corporate standards.

Conduct routine inspections, safety audits, and quality checks in logistics and warehouse areas to identify hazards or non-compliance.

Support risk assessments and participate in incident/accident investigations, documenting findings and corrective actions.

Promote and facilitate QHSE training and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance data, ensuring timely reporting to the QHSE Manager.

Monitor proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices on-site.

Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and response plan implementation.

Communicate safety alerts, observations, and best practices to relevant personnel.

Assist in coordinating with contractors and third parties to ensure their compliance with QHSE requirements.

Contribute to updating QHSE documentation such as risk assessments, SOPs, and compliance records.

Participate in internal and external audits as required, and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Provide daily reports on QHSE performance and observations during shift to the QHSE Manager or Supervisor.
What You Will Bring (Qualification & Requirements):

Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in QHSE roles within logistics, warehousing, or industrial settings.

Basic knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001).

Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations.

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with flexibility to convert to rotating shift patterns.

Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office; experience with safety management software is a plus.

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
