Job Description
As the Assistant Manager for Retail Field Force Management (Western Region), you will serve as the vital bridge between Samsung’s national retail strategy and localized execution in one of the Kingdom’s most dynamic markets. Your mission is to drive sustainable sales growth and brand dominance across Jeddah and the wider Western Region. You will achieve this by optimizing the performance of independent retailers, fostering elite dealer relationships, and leading a high-performing field force to ensure Samsung remains the brand of choice for consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Target Management

KPI Cascading: Translate regional sales objectives into actionable monthly and quarterly KPIs for Area Managers and specific retail clusters.

Performance Analytics: Conduct rigorous weekly reviews of sales data to identify performance gaps and implement immediate corrective action plans.

Incentive Management: Design and communicate localized incentive programs to keep independent retailers engaged and prioritized on Samsung products.
2. Brand Visibility & Merchandising

Dominant Presence: Ensure Samsung maintains a market-leading "Share of Shelf" and "Share of Voice" within all independent retail outlets.

Execution Excellence: Oversee the deployment of Point of Sale Materials (POSM). Adapt display strategies to reflect the Western Region’s unique seasonality, specifically maximizing impact during Ramadan and Hajj peaks.

Compliance Auditing: Perform regular, unannounced store checks to verify that all merchandising and visibility standards strictly align with global brand guidelines.
3. Dealer & Channel Relationship Management

Joint Business Planning (JBP): Partner with key regional dealers to align on inventory levels, sell-out projections, and long-term growth strategies.

Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of escalation for dealer grievances, maintaining professional rapport and ensuring long-term partner loyalty.

Market Intelligence: Provide real-time reporting on competitor activities, localized pricing shifts, and emerging market trends unique to the Western Region.
4. Leadership & People Management

Field Force Empowerment: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Area Managers and a broader field force, including merchandisers and promoters.

Capability Building: Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training sessions focused on negotiation tactics, product knowledge, and route optimization.
5. Distributor Engagement

Collaborative Growth: Actively engage with distributor teams to align on stock availability, sales targets, and geographic coverage objectives.

Performance Tracking: Regularly review distributor achievements against targets to ensure supply chain efficiency matches retail demand.
Qualifications-
Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in Retail Management, Field Sales, or Channel Management, preferably within the Consumer Electronics or FMCG sectors in Western region in KSA.

Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the Jeddah and Western Region retail landscape and consumer behavior.

Leadership: Proven track record of managing large, diverse field teams and driving performance through others.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret sales data and translate it into actionable business strategies.

Communication: Fluent in Arabic and English (written and verbal).

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
