Assistant Manager Sales

1. JOB PURPOSE:

Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, including re-engaging inactive customers, identify new sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, achieve revenue targets, and expand market presence through client visits and digital engagement. (Retention)

2. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relationship: Establish strong relationships with corporate clients by promoting company’s stationery products through digital platforms, random visits and networking activities to ensure brand visibility and improved market share.
  • Sales Opportunity: Identify and develop new business opportunities to broaden the customer portfolio and maintain a continuous stream of potential revenue.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing: Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines, and close profitable deals to secure contracts that meet profit margins and contribute to business growth.
  • Revenue Target: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning strategic execution, and consistent follow-up.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborates with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery and accurate fulfilment of client requirements, reducing complaints and returns.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide insights to management to support data-driven decision-making and improved sales strategies.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor the sales team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure team members meet their sales targets and follow company standards.
