We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Assistant Manager to manage and optimize the full spectrum of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier management. This role plays a vital part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Assistant Manager will ensure smooth operations, minimize expenses, and guarantee timely product delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Design and execute supply chain strategies that support business goals, emphasizing cost savings, quality enhancement, and delivery efficiency.
- Procurement: Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management process to secure goods and services on time and at competitive prices.
- Logistics & Distribution: Supervise logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Optimize transportation routes and coordinate with logistics partners.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages or overstocking, and reduce inventory holding costs.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards through audits and performance evaluations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks, implement contingency plans, and ensure adaptability to market changes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop team members, promote collaboration, and drive continuous improvement. Set clear goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Data & Reporting: Leverage data analysis to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
