We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Assistant Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier management. This position is crucial in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and alignment with company goals. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the Assistant Manager will ensure seamless operations, minimize costs, and guarantee timely delivery of products to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and delivery reliability.
- Procurement: Manage sourcing, negotiate with vendors, and oversee supplier relationships to secure timely and competitively priced goods and services.
- Logistics & Distribution: Oversee logistics operations to ensure accurate and punctual deliveries, optimize transportation routes, and coordinate with logistics partners.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock, while minimizing holding costs.
- Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards through regular audits and performance reviews.
- Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and maintain flexibility to adapt to market changes.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support team members, encourage collaboration, foster continuous improvement, set clear objectives, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Data & Reporting: Use data analysis to monitor performance, identify trends, and aid decision-making. Prepare and deliver reports for senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar role.
