Assistant Production Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an assistant production manager to manage the production processes of automatic assembly lines in our multinational company that produces parts for the automotive and white goods sector.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing production processes.
• Organizing workforce and resources in accordance with production targets.
• To ensure the realization of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• To ensure that employees work in accordance with occupational safety and occupational health rules.
• To check the conformity of product quality to the specified standards and to make improvements.
• Developing new methods and processes to increase productivity.
• To prepare production reports and present them to senior management.
• Leading the production team and identifying training and development needs.
• Optimizing processes to reduce costs and prevent waste.
• Quickly resolve problems encountered during production.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and certification requirements.
• Provide technical support during new product commissioning processes.

Who we are looking for:

• Graduated from Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering departments
• Good command of English,
• At least 5 years of experience in production management tasks
• Ability to use continuous improvement methods such as Lean Production Techniques, 5S, Kaizen, knowledge of quality systems
• Has used production tracking and data analysis programs such as MAS and has a good command of productivity analyses
• Strong leadership and communication skills and prone to teamwork
