We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager who’s motivated, organized, and ready to make an impact by strengthening resident relationships, securing renewals, and reducing delinquencies.

Your Mission:
As our Assistant Property Manager, your goal is to help residents stay happy — and stay home! You’ll play a key role in securing lease renewals, managing rent collections, and ensuring financial success for your community. You’ll partner with the Property Manager to maintain high occupancy, minimize delinquencies, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:
Lead rent collection efforts — follow up on delinquent accounts, set up payment plans, and maintain accurate records.
Drive renewals by building strong relationships with residents and promoting the value of staying in the community
Maintain compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations
️ Keep detailed and organized resident files and financial documentation while maintaining confidentiality
Provide excellent customer service by resolving resident concerns quickly and professionally
Assist with marketing efforts, community outreach, and resident engagement
Step in for the Property Manager as needed to ensure operations run smoothly

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in property management, leasing, or collections (multifamily experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage accounts receivable and reduce delinquencies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — you’re firm, fair, and friendly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or industry certification (CAM, ARM, etc.) preferred
