Assistant Surveyor

Job Purpose

To assist the survey team in carrying out site measurements, setting out, level checks, and survey-related activities for accurate execution of construction works.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in site surveying, setting out, and level checking.
• Support the surveyor in establishing control points and reference lines.
• Take measurements and maintain accurate survey records.
• Assist in checking dimensions and alignment of executed works.
• Help in preparation of survey reports and measurement data.
• Ensure survey equipment is handled and maintained properly.
• Coordinate with site engineers and foremen regarding setting out points.
• Support in as-built measurement activities when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Surveying preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in construction surveying assistance.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and site measurements.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and levels.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work outdoors and support site execution team.
