Overview:
To plan and execute Trade Marketing initiatives by providing data driven insights and tracking mechanisms for business growth. Being the core liaison between 3rd Party Vendors and PepsiCo for developing & executing market tools and programs along with being a process champion for payout and performance in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Controls Team.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and AOP
- Support Trade Marketing Team in developing trade plans for Sales and Brand Teams through managing 3rd Party Vendors and data drive insights.
- Contribute to business review and budgeting of trade promotion and merchandising plans.
Business Plan Deployment
- As part of cross functional team contribute towards identification of new suppliers and developing capability of existing suppliers for meeting the requirements for Racks and other in store merchandizing solutions.
- Partner with procurement team and suppliers to ensure that regional and brand team requirements for merchandizing solutions and POS material are fulfilled as per the AOP timelines and within budget.
- Develop a process for tracking in market deployment of merchandising solutions.
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Marketing functions to ensure smooth communication.
- Support sales team in designing and rolling out trade marketing activities.
Productivity and Financials
- Work closely with suppliers to bring in cost efficiencies in store trade tools spend by bringing in design improvements and utilization of new cost-effective materials.
- Manage and process purchases & payments through 3rd Party vendors based on company provided processes.
Market Share
- Market intelligence & competitor analysis – Monitor competitor activity in liaison with sales team.
- Support sales operations team in rolling out trade, distributor and team engagement plans.
Process Improvement
- Propose ways to improve existing sales processes- data tracking, POS procurement and deployment.
- Work with Trade Marketing Manager to drive strong media to shelf execution.
- Based on the information, support Trade Marketing Team to devise insightful chiller injection strategy Trade Launch, New Innovation and Sales.
Development Activities
- Execute customer engagement / Loyalty programs to build winning relationship with key customers.
- As part of Trade Marketing Team, work with Marketing to execute activation programs for new product launches and brand campaigns.
- Work with marketing and sales functions to develop and execute initiative plans and integrate in the sales/channel priority calendar.
Innovate and Create Disruption at Point of Sale
- Develop/Engage new and existing vendors to develop innovative on-shelf communication and merchandizing tools.
- Develop and design Shopper Insight mechanisms.
- Work with Trade Marketing & GP team to deliver productivity through re-design, reuse and refurbishment of merchandizing tools and racks.
Compliance
- Ensure GCS compliance for all key processes, procedures and act as a steward for all Trade Marketing related key controls as a support to TM Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors/MBA preferred
- Proficiency on MS Office Suite
- Multiple priority management

- Command on BI Tools (Power BI, SQL)

- FMCG experience 5-8 years
