Associate Business Developer (Full-time, Lahore)
We are seeking a driven and proactive Associate Business Developer to join our team at Phaedra Solutions. This full-time, on-site role is perfectly suited for individuals with up to 1 year of professional experience in business development. As an Associate Business Developer, you will be crucial in driving client acquisition, nurturing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting revenue growth strategies. You will also provide essential assistance in proposal preparation, sales pipeline management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients using online resources, industry databases, social media, and networking.
- Generate qualified leads through professional marketplaces (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr) or targeted outreach campaigns (emails, LinkedIn, cold calls, and events).
- Maintain and actively expand the database of prospects.
- Client Outreach & Communication
- Initiate and manage professional communication with prospects and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to establish trust and credibility.
- Draft client proposals, follow-up correspondence, and sales decks.
- Sales Pipeline & CRM Management
- Track, update, and manage client interactions and opportunities within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Monitor and report sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts to management.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all client communications and business opportunities.
- Meetings & Presentations
- Schedule, coordinate, and participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, and follow-up documentation.
- Support senior team members during client negotiations.
- Business Research & Market Analysis
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends.
- Provide insights into potential new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Analyze industry data to support the formulation of sales strategies.
- Proposal & Documentation Support
- Assist in drafting proposals, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to prepare tailored business pitches.
- Maintain standardized proposal and sales documentation templates.
- AI Tools & Process Automation
- Utilize AI tools to automate outreach, personalize communication, and streamline lead nurturing processes.
- Leverage productivity tools for reporting, data analysis, and client engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related commercial field. Additional certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management. Relevant internship or academic project experience will also be considered.
Core Skills
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency is required).
- Technical Familiarity: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). CRM knowledge (GHL & ClickUp) preferred.
- Outreach Tools: Familiarity with AI tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation platforms.
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of the sales funnel, business development lifecycle, and client engagement strategies.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and research abilities for market intelligence. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
