Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Admin & Operations Associate to manage the end-to-end onboarding of cooks on our tech service platform and serve as their dedicated account manager. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth experience for cooks from the moment they join, through setup, training, and ongoing support. The Associate will act as the bridge between our cooks and the internal teams (training, tech, business, customer success), ensuring high-quality service delivery and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cook Onboarding & Documentation
- Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new cooks, including:
- Collecting and verifying KYC, licenses, or certifications as required.
- Guiding cooks through platform registration and account creation.
- Explaining platform policies, service standards, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to set up cook profiles (menus, photos, pricing, availability).
- Organize training sessions (virtual/in-person) on platform usage, hygiene standards, and order management.
2. Relationship Management & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for onboarded cooks, addressing their queries, concerns, and escalations.
- Provide proactive support by checking in regularly, monitoring activity, and nudging for engagement.
- Handle operational issues such as order disputes, payout clarifications, and scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure cooks understand performance metrics, customer feedback, and how to improve ratings and service quality.
3. Operational Excellence
- Track onboarding funnel KPIs (registrations, active cooks, drop-off points) and identify areas for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of cook interactions, documentation, and issue resolutions in CRM/ops systems.
- Collaborate with the business & training teams to flag recurring pain points and suggest platform improvements.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues through cross-functional coordination (payments, logistics, compliance).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Operations Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, admin, account management, or partner/vendor support roles (preferably in food tech, e-commerce, or service platforms).
- Fluency in English and Hindi/Urdu; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working with food professionals (cooks, chefs, vendors) is a plus.
- Over and above: strong-willed, sharp problem solver and hands on!
