Position: Associate Manager Maintenance

Location: Karachi

Job Description:

Responsible for end-to-end maintenance of all stores and facilities, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and minimal operational downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical equipment including ovens, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, POS hardware and electrical systems.
• Develop & execute preventive & corrective schedule for overall maintenance & facility to avoid operational disruption.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly to avoid downtime.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget. Control repair and maintenance costs while maintaining service quality.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives and energy-efficiency improvements.
• Support new store openings, renovations and refurbishments.
• Monitor vendor performance, service quality, response time and compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation for all repairs, inspections, and service records.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks, wear and tear, and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee building maintenance civil works, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Standardize approved equipment and vendors.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters Preferred) or a related technical field (preferred).
• 4 to 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in QSR, food service, retail, or multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Experience managing vendors and maintenance budgets.
