Key Responsibilities

Operations & Field Management

• Supervise and schedule fiber technicians/contractors for installation, splicing, testing & repairs.
• Monitor daily operations to achieve productivity and SLA targets.
• Inspect field work for quality and safety compliance.
• Report OFC cuts, maintain fault trackers & ensure timely fault restoration.
• Conduct field visits when delays affect MTTR.

Technical Support

• Provide guidance on splicing, OTDR testing & troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper maintenance of fiber tools and test equipment.
• Review as-built documents, splicing diagrams & network documentation.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, NOC & construction teams.
• Track project progress, manage priorities & allocate resources.
• Maintain accurate fiber route records and inventory.

Customer & Stakeholder Handling

• Support escalations & share timely updates with management.

Safety & Team Development

• Ensure EHS compliance and promote safe work practices.
• Train and mentor field staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in fiber operations or telecom fieldwork.
• Strong knowledge of splicing, OTDR/power meter testing, OSP/ISP practices.
• Experience leading field teams.
• Familiar with fiber mapping & GIS tools.
• Valid driver’s license and field readiness.
