Human Capital is hiring on behalf of its Canadian-based client in the IT industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager who can effectively coordinate with engineering teams while also supporting quality assurance and release processes.

Role Overview

This role combines project coordination, Agile execution, and hands-on quality assurance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high product quality across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, track, and manage project timelines, tasks, and deliverables
• Assist in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives (Agile)
• Coordinate effectively between developers, QA teams, and stakeholders
• Identify project risks and blockers, ensuring timely resolution
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Log, track, and document bugs with clarity and detail
• Validate bug fixes and support release readiness
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure alignment across tasks and teams

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Project Management, QA, or coordination roles
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Hands-on experience with manual testing
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience working closely with engineering teams
