Asst. Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Engineer in planning daily fabrication activities.
• Monitor fabrication works including cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, assembly, and surface finishing.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with design, QA/QC, and site teams for smooth workflow.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain records.
• Supervise workshop manpower and ensure proper resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Support material tracking and inventory control.
• Assist in resolving production issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in quality inspections and ensure work meets drawing specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in steel fabrication or structural fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and structural steel components.
• Familiar with welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC) and fabrication equipment.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy structural steel, tanks, piping, or industrial fabrication.
• Understanding of production planning and workflow optimization.
• Valied UAE Driving License
