About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and capable of identifying risks, proposing improvements, and supporting management in driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits (financial, operational, and compliance) in accordance with the annual audit plan.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and non-compliance in financial records or operations.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions from previous audits.
• Assist in developing and improving risk-based audit frameworks.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in auditing, internal controls, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other audit tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
