AutoCAD Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings , layouts, and design plans for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, site development, etc.).
• Develop Civil 3D models , surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading plans, and cross-sections.
• Interpret and convert survey data, GIS information, field measurements, and design inputs into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and GIS specialists to ensure accurate data integration.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and documentation as per project requirements.
• Prepare as-built drawings and ensure all updates are accurately reflected.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards before submission.
• Support project teams with drafting tasks, quantity take-offs, and layout preparations.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, client specifications, and drafting guidelines.
• Work within project timelines and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D (essential).
• Experience with GIS survey data , coordinate systems, and mapping.
• Good understanding of infrastructure design concepts (roads, utilities, grading, site development).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and technical specifications.
