AutoCAD Technical Designer

Job Brief

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Designer.

The responsibilities include designing, drafting detailed blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, and presenting design proposals to clients.

Our ideal candidate is proficient in using CAD software, has a strong understanding of architectural trends and methods, and possesses excellent design and spatial awareness skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather product and structural requirements and designs
• Create architectural designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using computer-aided design (CAD) application
• Prepare detailed architectural designs, plans, and specifications
• Present design proposals to clients for approval
• Work closely with a team
• Consider factors such as safety, cost, and functionality when designing structures
• Stay updated with latest architectural trends and advancements

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality architectural designs
• Sound understanding of construction techniques and architectural trends
• Ability to sketch detailed drawing plans both by hand and by using CAD applications
• Excellent design and visualisation skills
• BSc degree in Architecture or related field
