Position Summary

Bluestone Metals & Chemicals is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Backoffice Administrator to support daily commercial and operational activities. This role is responsible for sales order entry, coordination with third-party service providers, and assisting with accounting and administrative functions to ensure smooth business operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage customer sales orders accurately and efficiently within internal systems
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, and service partners regarding shipments and deliveries
  • Maintain and update customer, supplier, and product records
  • Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and other accounting-related administrative tasks
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes as needed
  • Monitor order status and communicate updates internally and externally
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation
  • Assist with resolving order discrepancies, shipment issues, and customer inquiries
  • Support the sales and operations teams with administrative activities
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, backoffice, customer service, logistics, or accounting support role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP or order management systems is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and team-oriented attitude
