We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The role involves preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring consistency in quality and taste while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bread preparation: Mix, knead, and bake different types of bread, including artisan and specialty varieties.
  • Pastry and baked goods: Assist in preparing cakes, croissants, muffins, and other baked items.
  • Recipe execution: Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
  • Mise en place: Organize and maintain the bakery station with all necessary ingredients and tools.
  • Quality control: Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.
  • Hygiene compliance: Maintain cleanliness of bakery areas, adhering to HACCP standards.
  • Stock monitoring: Track ingredient usage, report shortages, and assist in proper storage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of baking techniques (mixing, proofing, baking, decorating).
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Creativity in developing new baked products.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Baking preferred.
  • Prior experience in bakery operations is an advantage.
  • Passion for baking and willingness to learn new techniques.

Career Path

This role provides a foundation for growth into Pastry Chef or Head Baker positions, with opportunities to specialize in artisan breads, fine pastries, or large-scale bakery production.

Pay: BD150.000 - BD200.000 per month
