Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, flair, and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and refunds while maintaining cash handling accuracy.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience, offering recommendations and answering questions about drinks or menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety protocols.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills during busy hours.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management proactively.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in high-energy environments like nightclubs or banquet settings.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices in food service environments.
• Experience in fine dining establishments or retail math for accurate cash handling and billing.
• Familiarity with catering services or banquet experience is a plus for special event support.
