Bartender/ Server

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and safety standards.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring smooth operations during service.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.

Skills

  • Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and basic calculations related to sales transactions.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including food industry regulations, beverage preparation techniques (including brewing), and serving etiquette. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.71 - $26.15 per hour
