Bartender/Server

DoubleTree by Hilton Silver Spring is seeking an energetic, professional, and guest focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong beverage knowledge and the ability to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and hotel guidelines

· Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude

· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area

· Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system

· Verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service practices

· Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and supply management

· Collaborate with restaurant and banquet teams to ensure smooth service operations

· Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and Hilton policies

· Support special events, banquets, and hotel functions when required

Qualifications

· Previous bartending experience preferred (restaurant or hotel environment)

· Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service

· Strong communication and guest service skills

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

· Flexible schedule including weekends, and holidays

· Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol in Maryland

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
