Beds and Therapeutic Surfaces Sales Specialist

As a Beds and Therapeutic Surface Sales Specialist , you will lead capital sales efforts focused on hospital beds, therapeutic surfaces, and specialty support surfaces. You will identify opportunities, build long‑term customer relationships, and close equipment‑based capital deals that improve safety, outcomes, and workflow across healthcare facilities.

What You Will Do in This Role


Capital Sales and Territory Management

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on selling hospital beds, therapeutic support surfaces, and related specialty capital equipment
  • Identify, qualify, and close capital opportunities across Acute Care, Long‑Term Care, and other care environments
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of capital equipment opportunities through proactive customer engagement
  • Leverage Customer Relationship Management tools to track opportunities and manage territory performance
  • Partner with Territory Executives, clinical specialists, and internal experts to support strategic selling efforts

Customer‑Aligned Sales Process

  • Understand customer buying processes for capital procurement and adapt sales approach accordingly
  • Present product capabilities and financial value in a compelling, consultative manner
  • Conduct on‑site demonstrations and lead clinical and administrative conversations that influence decision‑making
  • Build strong relationships with hospital administrators, supply chain leaders, nurse leaders, and clinical decision‑makers
  • Conduct business reviews to highlight product performance, financial value, and long‑term impact

Insight‑Driven Selling

  • Translate clinical benefits, operational efficiencies, and financial advantages of hospital beds and therapeutic surfaces into tailored customer value
  • Use data, insights, and workflow analysis to help customers evaluate the right capital solution for their needs

What You Will Need for this Role

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required; a clinical discipline is preferred
  • Experience selling capital equipment in healthcare strongly preferred
  • Two or more years of healthcare sales or related experience required
  • Experience in team‑based selling environments preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a driving record that meets Agiliti policy requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong drive, discipline, and resilience to succeed in a competitive capital‑sales environment
  • Ability to identify customer problems and present solutions that align with clinical, operational, and financial goals
  • High level of proficiency discussing clinical equipment used across healthcare settings
  • Understanding of hospital finance, capital budgeting, reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and safety practices
  • Competency with Challenger Sales methodology, including whiteboarding and virtual presentations
  • Ability to set high performance standards, follow through on commitments, and build cross‑functional partnerships
