Beertender

Job Summary:
Island Park Brewing is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable Beertender to join our team for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. As the face of our taproom, you’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, serve high-quality craft beer, and help guests have an exceptional experience. If you’re passionate about craft beer and enjoy engaging with people, we’d love to meet you. This is a seasonal job but there is the possibility of year round employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pour and serve beer accurately and efficiently
• Educate customers on beer styles, flavors, and brewery offerings
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive taproom environment
• Handle cash, credit transactions, and operate POS system
• Maintain cleanliness of bar, tap lines, glassware, and seating areas
• Check IDs and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Support events, tastings, and special releases

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of craft beer (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol (21)
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $14.00 - $40.00 per hour
