Behavioral Health Receptionist

Community Medical and Dental Care, Inc., located in Rockland County, NY, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our busy outpatient Behavioral Health Department for the afternoon and Sunday hours. Join an enthusiastic team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet patients in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
• Check in patients, verify and update demographics, insurance, and other necessary information
• Collect co-payments and past-due balances
• Provide documents that need to be completed prior to patient's visit
• Complete necessary authorizations & referrals
• Answer and screen all incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and transfer calls as needed
• Manage the waiting room, patient activity, and patient flow

REQUIREMENTS:
