Under the direction of the Benefits Coordinator, the Benefits Specialist supports and maintains health, dental, life insurance, voluntary policies, retirement, workers' compensation, and leave benefits for all eligible team members.
QUALITY OF LIFE EXPECTATION FOR ALL STAFF:
To actively further the agency's mission to optimize the quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.
Pay Range: $22.63 - $24.55 hourly, based on experienceResponsibilities:-
Coordinates coverage for workers' compensation related to on-the-job injuries and covered illnesses.

Coordinates leave of absence process, assuring compliance with agency rules: FMLA, PFL, and ADA.

Present to new eligible team members regarding benefits offered through Anderson Cetner for Autism during monthly orientation sessions.

Process payroll changes for deductions regarding benefits and retirement.
-
Assists the Benefits Coordinator, CHRO, and Assistant Director of HR in the day-to-day functioning of the benefits and retirement programs.
