Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Bid Writer to support the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality tender responses. The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing compelling, compliant, and commercially strong proposals for public and private sector opportunities, particularly within the Facilities Management sector.
This role requires strong writing skills, commercial awareness, deadline discipline, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments, including operations, finance, HR, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Management & Coordination
- Review tender documents, PQQs, ITTs, and framework agreements.
- Extract key requirements and create a structured response plan.
- Develop bid timelines and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal departments for technical, financial, and operational input.
- Ensure all submissions are fully compliant with tender requirements.
Bid Writing & Content Development
- Write clear, persuasive, and high-scoring responses tailored to evaluation criteria.
- Translate operational and technical input into compelling written content.
- Develop method statements, mobilisation plans, risk registers, and value-add proposals.
- Ensure responses demonstrate innovation, compliance, and commercial strength.
- Edit and proofread submissions to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure 100% compliance with tender instructions.
- Maintain version control and document management.
- Conduct internal quality checks before submission.
- Ensure all supporting documents (policies, certifications, insurances) are updated and attached.
Bid Library & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and update a structured bid content library.
- Track feedback from submitted bids and implement improvements.
- Identify recurring evaluation themes and scoring patterns.
- Support bid/no-bid analysis when required.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Operations Managers
- Estimators & Pricing Team
- Finance Department
- HR & Compliance
- Attend internal strategy meetings for high-value tenders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Business, English, Marketing, or related field preferred)
- Experience in Facilities Management / Construction / Services industry preferred
- Experience working on UK public sector tenders (advantageous)
- 2–4 yearsof experience in bid writing or proposal writing

Work Timings: 12:00 pm 8:00 pm (in Summers) and 1:00 pm 9:00 pm (in winters)
Work Days: Monday- Friday
Work Mode: Onsite
