Position: BMS Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and Operate Systems: Oversee the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems to resolve any alarms or faults promptly.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data from the BMS to identify trends and optimize system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
• Documentation: Document all maintenance activities, system updates, and performance reports to maintain accurate records.
• Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and improvements to building systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical diploma or certification in HVAC, building automation, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining building management systems is typically required.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as familiarity with BMS software and hardware.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address system issues effectively.
• Communication: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders and provide technical support.
