Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of surgical techniques and patient care, with a focus on reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of plastic and reconstructive surgeries, including but not limited to aesthetic enhancements, trauma reconstruction, and congenital defect corrections.
  • Utilize advanced medical imaging and EHR systems to assess patient needs and document surgical procedures accurately.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in perioperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
  • Provide education to patients regarding surgical options, risks, and post-operative care.
  • Manage post-operative follow-ups to monitor recovery progress and address any complications.
  • Stay current with advancements in plastic surgery techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuous education and clinical research.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality in all patient interactions.

Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Board certification in Plastic Surgery or equivalent training.
  • Proven experience in surgical procedures related to plastic surgery, including suturing techniques and wound care management.
  • Familiarity with various medical specialties such as dermatology, oncology, cardiology, and pediatrics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting or outpatient clinic is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices.
