Our client, a private family office, is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative operations of the family. This is a fully remote role; however, the candidate must be based in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate has prior family office experience, a strong understanding of financial reporting, and the ability to manage a wide range of personal and professional support tasks with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze financial statements, reports, and investment summaries
  • Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, including AP/AR, writing checks, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate ledgers
  • Support investment tracking, including real estate assets and related documentation
  • Coordinate travel logistics and book flights for family members
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling needs
  • Collaborate with external advisors, accountants, and vendors as needed
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Prior family office experience required
  • Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills
  • Experience working with investment records; real estate exposure preferred
  • High degree of discretion, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must be based in Puerto Rico

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
