We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. <Responsibilities>

  • Record and process journal entries accurately using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure data consistency.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget variance analyses.
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax-related activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and providing detailed financial insights for decision-making.

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate or non-profit organizations.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills; ability to perform 10 key typing accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with teams.
