Position Summary
The Branch Manager – Republic Branch provides strategic and operational leadership for all branch activities, including drilling, pump service, retail, purchasing, fleet, and office operations. This role is accountable for branch performance, profitability, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the water well, pump, or construction-related industry, demonstrates outstanding leadership capabilities, and can translate strategic goals into operational success. Performance will be measured using clear KPIs tied to financial results, operational efficiency, employee development, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop the Republic branch leadership team including the Front Counter Supervisor, and Pump Department Manager
- Conduct annual performance reviews, succession planning, and ongoing coaching of direct reports
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent; maintain staffing levels to meet operational goals
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Ensure employees are trained, engaged, and aligned with company values and industry’s best practices
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all branch operations, including drilling, pump service, retail sales, and purchasing
- Optimize crew scheduling, inventory levels, and workflow across departments
- Implement and improve operational processes and systems, including online scheduling and ServiceTitan usage
- Ensure accurate documentation of well logs, pump cards, work orders, pump truck scheduling, and bid projects
- Serve as project manager for bid jobs, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met
- Ensure proper utilization and timely response of WhipAround reports for fleet maintenance
Financial & Performance Management
- Drive branch profitability and revenue growth through cost management and operational efficiency
- Approve purchase orders, major repairs, and capital expenditures with competitive bidding and financial oversight
- Approve timecards, monitor overtime, and manage employee time-off requests
- Analyze financial, operational and KPI reporting including:
- Revenue growth and profitability
- Inventory turnover and cost control
- Equipment uptime and maintenance compliance
- Labor productivity and overtime efficiency
- Safety incident rates
Safety & Compliance
- Lead weekly safety meetings with drilling and pump crews; conduct monthly store safety meetings
- Serve on the company Safety Committee and uphold safety culture across the branch
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws
Customer & Community Engagement
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and community stakeholders
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely project completion, responsive service, and issue resolution
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions and community engagement

Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in water well, pump, construction, or related industry. Additional consideration will be given to those with an O1, O3 or Washington State Driller’s License.
- Proven track record managing multi-department branches or operations
- Experience in project management, operational oversight, and financial accountability
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan, fleet management systems, and retail operations preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
