Title: Branch Manager
The Branch Manager will lead the sales and operations for Brokerage Services within our client’s portfolio. This leadership position calls for a dynamic, results-driven professional who can cultivate a strong sales culture, drive business growth, and align service offerings with customer needs. The ideal candidate will focus on expanding services that complement the company’s existing strengths while achieving above-average revenue and profitability.
This role carries broad responsibilities, including hiring, training, P&L management, and overall branch performance. The Branch Manager will play a key leadership role in shaping the direction and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational, budgeting, and forecasting strategies for the branch.
- Identify target industries and transportation modes to expand market presence.
- Balance investments between business development and operations to maximize branch growth.
- Build and maintain a strong sales culture across all levels of the team.
- Create and analyze detailed financial plans, including P&L statements, to meet EBITDA objectives.
- Partner with internal departments to develop joint growth strategies for shared customers.
- Deliver cost-effective transportation solutions that prioritize long-term customer relationships.
- Foster a high-performance team environment that values innovation, accountability, and retention.
- Establish clear performance goals, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of annual targets.
- Lead and motivate direct reports through effective communication, coaching, and development.
- Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 sessions to promote leadership growth and alignment.
- Oversee timely and meaningful performance reviews across the team.
- Promote a positive culture focused on service excellence, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operating standards, and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain is highly preferred.
- Proven success in business development, sales leadership, and operational management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a profit center and improve financial outcomes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general data entry (10-key).
- Capable of interpreting complex data and delivering presentations to customers and leadership teams.
- Independent decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Registry Monitoring Insurance Services (RMIS) is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop, mentor, and retain high-performing teams in a competitive environment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
