Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Bread Incharge to lead bread production operations, ensure consistent product quality, and manage the bakery team efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in artisan bread production along with team management and production planning skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of all bread items ensuring consistency in quality, texture, and taste
• Manage and supervise a team of bakers and assistants
• Handle complete bread production process including mixing, fermentation, proofing, and baking
• Develop and standardize recipes (sourdough, multigrain, baguette, ciabatta, etc.)
• Ensure proper use and handling of bakery equipment and ovens
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
• Plan production schedules according to daily demand and sales targets
• Monitor and control inventory of raw materials (flour, yeast, ingredients)
• Minimize wastage through effective production planning
• Train and guide staff on baking techniques and quality standards
• Ensure timely completion of bulk and custom orders
• Coordinate with management and procurement for smooth operations

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in bakery, with strong focus on bread production
• Prior experience as Baker / Section Head / Supervisor preferred
• Strong knowledge of artisan breads and fermentation techniques
• Ability to manage high-volume production
• Leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Physically active and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in retail bakery or food production industry
• Expertise in sourdough and specialty breads
• Strong problem-solving and production management skills
