Position Overview of Business Analyst:
Clarus Direct is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a highly collaborative analyst with prior experience in the subscription space! This person will be expected to assess business processes and use data analysis skills to recommend solutions and enhance business performance.

Duties and Responsibilities of Business Analyst:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; convert them into user stories and tasks for the development team
Create and maintain clear documentation of processes, business rules, and workflows
Work with solution teams to assess feasibility and provide timely, effective recommendations
Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business needs
Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as needed
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements
Partner with stakeholders to track and measure the impact of delivered features
Conduct gap analyses and support change management efforts related to product updates
Stay informed on industry trends and compliance considerations relevant to subscription and membership platforms

Skills and Experience of Business Analyst:

Strong understanding of product development, product enhancements, and the subscription lifecycle (acquisition, retention, billing)
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in subscription or membership-based services
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro (or similar tools), and agile methodologies
Ability to translate complex business and technology requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Strong collaboration and communication skills to interface with business, technical, and external stakeholders
Working knowledge of data analysis, KPIs, and user behavior insights to support product decisions

The base salary range for this position is $85-90k. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, pertinent experience, and qualifications.:
