The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business, product, data, and engineering, translating complex business problems into clear, prioritized requirements—with a strong focus on data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities. This role owns backlog readiness, requirement clarity, and value realization for intelligent features and workflows.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Product Managers to translate product vision and roadmap into well-defined epics, features, and user stories

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for AI-enabled, data-driven, and automated solutions

Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring stories are clear, testable, and prioritized

Define acceptance criteria, success metrics, and measurable outcomes for features and AI use cases

Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and QA to support end-to-end delivery

Support discovery activities including process mapping, customer journey analysis, and opportunity identification

Ensure AI and analytics requirements address explainability, accuracy, bias, and operational constraints

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives

Validate delivered functionality against business intent and support UAT and release readiness

Document workflows, product behavior, and business rules for internal and user-facing documentation

Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics, automation, predictive models, and AI-assisted workflows

Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements for AI solutions

Work with data and engineering teams to define data inputs, outputs, assumptions, and constraints

Understand and communicate model limitations, confidence levels, and edge cases

Support post-launch monitoring by defining KPIs, model performance indicators, and feedback loop

Quality, clarity, and completeness of requirements

Reduction in rework due to unclear or incomplete analysis

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education:

Bachelor's degree is required
Experience:

3 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience

Any computer science background preferred
Knowledge and Skills:

Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or hybrid role in software product teams

Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and backlog management

Experience working on data, analytics, or AI-enabled products
Familiarity with:

Predictive models, automation, and/or generative AI concepts

APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations

Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
