Business Analyst

The Business Analyst (Banking ) is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support banking systems and digital initiatives. The role works closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear requirement definition, effective solution design, and successful delivery aligned with banking processes and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze banking business processes and identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and expectations
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Support solution design discussions and implementation planning
• Ensure traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions
• Support QA teams by validating test cases against approved requirements
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off
• Manage change requests and requirement lifecycle
• Facilitate workshops and requirement discussion sessions
• Maintain clear and well-structured documentation and process flows
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain
• Strong understanding of banking processes and systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall delivery environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
