The Business Applications Specialist supports the operation, maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications and systems. The role provides functional and technical support, performs system analysis, resolves incidents and service requests, and coordinates with vendors to ensure effective utilization of applications in alignment with business requirements and organizational standards. The position also contributes to solution implementation, decommissioning initiatives, project delivery, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring that business applications operate efficiently, securely, and in support of the organization’s digital transformation objectives.

Support day-to-day operations of enterprise applications and ERP systems.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations or enhancement requests.

Provide functional support to business users and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Assist in system enhancements, testing, and deployments.

Ensure applications operate in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain system documentation and support knowledge sharing.

Coordinate & collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Technical Responsibilities:

Provide functional and first/second-level support for ERP and business applications.

Participate in implementation projects, enhancements, and platform rollouts.

Support solution configuration, testing cycles, and deployment activities.
-
Act as Project Coordinator or PM for small-to-medium initiatives when required.

Analyze incidents, service requests, and system issues, and propose corrective actions.

Support system enhancements, configurations, and integrations under manager supervision.

Execute system testing (unit testing, UAT support) and assist in release activities.

Maintain system documentation, user guides, and process flows.
-
Monitor application performance and escalate risks or issues when required.

Support data accuracy, access control, and basic security compliance.

Assist in audit activities by preparing system evidence and reports.

Support user training and system adoption initiatives.

Assist in solution integration activities across enterprise platforms

Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that

Prepare accurate and timely functional deliverables and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards
Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:
-
3–6 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or digital platforms.

Experience in PMIS, collaboration platforms, or operational enterprise systems is preferred.
Exposure to project delivery or solution implementation is an advantage.
