Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Upwork Business Developer who can manage our Upwork profile, generate quality leads, and help us secure new projects. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Upwork bidding, proposal writing, client communication, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s Upwork profile and job feed.
• Search, identify, and bid on relevant projects daily.
• Write professional, customized proposals tailored to client requirements (no generic templates).
• Communicate with clients through Upwork messages and schedule calls when required.
• Understand client needs and collaborate with the internal team to prepare estimates.
• Follow up on proposals to convert leads into successful contracts.
• Maintain records of bids, responses, conversions, and project statuses.
• Achieve monthly targets for proposals, response rate, and project acquisition.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Upwork Business Developer (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of Upwork platform, categories, bidding strategies, and client expectations.
• Excellent English communication and proposal-writing skills.
• Ability to identify high-value projects and craft competitive proposals.
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other freelancing platforms (Fiverr, Guru, Freelancer) is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development, design, or digital marketing services.
