The Business Development Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and reliable business development data across internal systems. This role supports the BD team by entering and updating data in real time, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring high-quality reporting and workflow continuity. The ideal candidate is responsible, detail-oriented, and takes full ownership of their work while demonstrating a strong understanding of research operations and data entry standards. The ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, is required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Data Analyst will be responsible for the following:

Enter and update data in Atom and Salesforce in real time (same day) to ensure up-to-date tracking and reporting

Maintain a minimum of 90% data entry accuracy and uphold high standards for data quality

Identify data inconsistencies, gaps, and errors, and correct them when appropriate or report them to the relevant teams for resolution

Review and interpret study documentation as needed, including the ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve data issues, workflow gaps, and reporting discrepancies

Monitor and maintain data integrity across large-scale databases and BD tracking systems

Support team and department productivity through additional duties as assigned

Ensure data is entered consistently, clearly, and in alignment with departmental standards and processes
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Experience:

At least one-year prior experience in clinical research is preferred
Qualifications:

Current DM employee with knowledge of our data systems (preferred)

Highly responsible with strong ownership and accountability for assigned work

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols (preferred – however, this can be trained)

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills (required)
