Job Description – Business Development Engineer (General Contracting – Industrial)

Job Purpose
Drive revenue growth and market penetration for AGNICE in industrial facilities (distribution centers, cold storage, logistics hubs, food processing plants, light-industrial/warehouses) by originating and converting opportunities, shaping Design-Build/Turnkey/Built-to-Suit solutions, and leading the technical-commercial interface from lead qualification through award.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new project opportunities within the civil contracting sector.
- Develop and implement marketing and business growth strategies to expand market reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
- Oversee the design and build process to ensure alignment with client specifications and project requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals for potential projects.
- Coordinate closely with the estimation team to analyze costs and prepare competitive bids.
- Recommend value engineering and alternative design solutions to optimize client requirements and project efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience (Mandatory / Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or related field). (Mandatory)
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in business development or estimation within the construction industry. (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE markets. (Mandatory)
- Experience in industrial projects (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage. (Mandatory)
- AutoCAD proficiency is an added advantage. (Preferred)
- Working with MNC clients is an added advantage. (Preferred)

- Business Development & Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to identify opportunities, build networks, and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Market Analysis & Proposal Preparation: Skilled in conducting market research, preparing technical/commercial proposals, and supporting bid strategies.
- Negotiation & Presentation Skills: Strong communication and persuasion abilities for successful project acquisition and client engagement.
- Design-Build & Value Engineering Knowledge: Solid understanding of integrated project delivery methods and cost-optimization techniques.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
