Business Development Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering
  • 3–7 years of experience in construction business development, and tendering.
  • Strong understanding of building standards, codes, and construction practices.
  • Identify and pursue new construction opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with clients, developers, and consultants.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate tenders, RFQs, and design–build opportunities.
  • Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and planning teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Support value engineering, cost optimization, and alternative construction solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
  • Follow up on proposals and negotiations to secure orders.
  • Prepare regular business development and sales pipeline reports.
