Business Development Executive

Role Overview:

The Business Development Executive is a strategic growth driver responsible for leading and executing the company’s business development initiatives across Egypt and the MENA region. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on client engagement to expand our presence in the HR and Management Consulting market. The BD Executive will own the sales pipeline , coach and mentor junior team members, build high-value partnerships, and ensure that revenue and profitability targets are achieved while aligning with the company’s vision of delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential industries, sectors, and key accounts across Egypt and the MENA region.
  • Oversee lead generation efforts through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and partnerships, while ensuring a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with C-level decision-makers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability goals.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support Business Development Specialists and Executives, ensuring team alignment with company targets.
  • Set individual and team KPIs, monitor performance, and implement improvement plans where needed.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client success and revenue growth.

Client Relationship & Key Account Management

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts and key clients.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and aligning them with tailored HR and consulting solutions.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client value and retention.
  • Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.

Market Intelligence & Business Insights

  • Monitor HR market trends, labor regulations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide management with regular insights and recommendations for new service offerings or market expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and thought-leadership initiatives to position the company as a market leader.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Own and maintain the business development dashboard on the company CRM.
  • Track and report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Present regular performance updates and growth forecasts to senior management.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field.
  • A postgraduate degree (MBA) or professional certifications in Sales/Business Development are a plus.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in B2B business development, with proven leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a sales pipeline, closing large accounts, and achieving/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong network within the HR, consulting, or professional services industries is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Skilled relationship builder, capable of influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, reporting tools, and MS Office Suite.
