Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in the Oil and Energy Services sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. This position requires a deep understanding of the energy industry and a proven ability to generate and close new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the oil, gas, and energy services sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align service offerings with client requirements.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and develop a strong industry network.
  • Maintain CRM systems to track leads, client communications, and sales performance.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents, bids, and RFQs in collaboration with the proposals and commercial teams.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the oil, gas, or energy services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the oil and energy value chain, particularly in service provision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of local and international oil & gas regulations and procurement processes.
  • Existing network within oil companies, EPCs, drilling contractors, or service companies.
  • Experience with digital and sustainability trends in energy services (e.g., digital oilfields, energy transition solutions).
