Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing clients within the exhibitions, events, and design industries. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building strong client and agency relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery in coordination with internal teams. The Sales Executive acts as the key point of contact between the company and its clients — promoting INDEX Design’s services, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that contribute to revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

Job Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition & Business Development

Identify and approach potential clients from various sectors including corporates, brands, event organizers, and exhibition participants.

Visit industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to network and build a strong lead pipeline.

Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person visits to generate new business opportunities.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to client needs.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Agency & Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing, PR, and event agencies.

Manage existing client accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Build and nurture a network of industry contacts to secure ongoing project collaborations.

Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through consistent follow-up and support.
Proposal Development & Coordination

Collaborate with the design and project teams to prepare customized proposals and quotations.

Understand client briefs and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate execution.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies.
Site & Event Visits

Conduct regular site visits to exhibition centers, venues, and client offices.

Attend ongoing events to observe trends, scout for prospects, and identify key decision-makers.

Gather client requirements on-site and coordinate effectively with Account Managers and Operations.
CRM, Reporting & Market Intelligence

Maintain accurate records of leads, client meetings, proposals, and follow-ups in the company’s CRM system.

Provide weekly reports on sales activity, pipeline progress, and conversion rates.

Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer insights to identify new opportunities.

Contribute to periodic sales forecasting and planning discussions.
Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience in
sales or business development
, preferably in
exhibitions, events, or stand-building
industries.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent presentation and client engagement abilities.

Target-driven with a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of the regional exhibitions, events, and interiors market is an advantage.

Valid UAE driving license and own car are
