Business Development Executive

Job Title: Business Development Executive (Bidding Platforms)

Location: On-Site – Lahore
Experience: 2–3 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in online bidding platforms such as Upwork and strong business development skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing bids, building client relationships, and converting leads into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Write customized, high-quality proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Communicate with international clients to understand project scope and expectations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to prepare accurate proposals, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, and client communications.
  • Convert prospects into long-term business relationships.
  • Maintain and update CRM with leads, pipeline status, and client details.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.

  • Upwork (mandatory, hands-on experience)
  • Freelancer, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour (plus)

Software & Tools

  • CRM Tools: HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce
  • Project / Task Tools: ClickUp, Jira, Trello, Asana
  • Documentation: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion
  • Communication Tools: Email, Zoom, Slack, LinkedIn

Business Development Skills

  • Strong proposal writing and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of IT services (web, mobile, AI, cloud, SaaS).
  • Lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.
  • Client requirement gathering and solution mapping.
  • Pricing strategy, scope definition, and contract discussion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under targets and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development or online bidding.
  • Proven success on Upwork with profile management and deal closures.
  • Strong English communication and professional writing skills.
  • Experience working with international clients.
